Advisory

For 30 years Cleopatra has been an advisor to international corporations, governments and campaigning organizations. During this time, she has worked in the US, Europe, the Middle East and Africa and lived in 7 countries. 

As senior regional Managing Director in mid-size and large multinational advisory firms she has led and mentored multi-disciplined and multi-cultural teams, on complex cross-border assignments, delivering value to clients in key economic sectors including energy, telecommunications and financial services. As a member of the executive team she has contributed to managing national and regional P+L; driving growth – both organically and by acquisition – in mature and emerging markets.

Cleopatra’s work is defined by understanding drivers of risk and opportunity – financial, socio-economic, political and regulatory. She has acted as an advisor to governments and corporations, guiding leaders in decision making and communication during period of change – in crisis, ownership transition, business expansion – whilst working with boards, executive teams, committees and staff task groups, regulators and civil society leaders to develop and implement optimum solutions to complex problems.

In her board role with the International Crisis Group, she has volunteered in conflict zones across Africa to understand the root cause of conflict and offer support to the vulnerable. As a Certified Independent Director of INSEAD Corporate Governance Centre, she works to bring experience and knowledge to international businesses seeking to succeed in competitive mature and emerging markets. 

Current assignments include:

  • Non Executive Director, BoD, Louis Plc, the regional travel, tourism, cruise line group in the Eastern Mediterranean covering markets of Cyprus, Greece, Turkey, Israel, Egypt;

  • Non Executive Director, BoD, Eurobank Cyprus, with a strong portfolio in corporate banking and wealth management (effective as of December 1st, 2018);

  • Advisor to Noble Energy for its offshore natural gas discovery in the Eastern Mediterranean;

  • Advisor to a US biotech company for its market entry strategy in Greece, Cyprus and Israel.


Qualifications

Cleopatra is a certified Independent Director, a member of INSEAD Independent Directors Network and their appointed ambassador for Cyprus.

She has also completed the Executive Leadership Program, Women and Power, at the Kennedy School of Government, Harvard University.
